Marcello Jori’s Nativity Tree in Museion
Marcello Jori’s Palle Presepe – nativity baubles – set out to evoke the joy and magic of Christmas in an entirely original way, and indeed there is nothing else like them in the world. The project renews the partnership between the artist and the Italian company Alessi, based in the town of Crusinallo – a partnership that began with the series Figure, drawing on the artist’s passion for comics.
The foyer of Museion will play host to Marcello Jori’s Palle Presepe – hung on a Christmas tree, naturally – together with the artist’s preparatory sketches.
