On the occasion of the installation of the work ‘Phenomeneon’ by Pieke Bergmans at the Parkhotel Laurin in Bolzano, Museion will host the talk ‘Pause to Marvel’.

In this conversation with the artist, designer and professor Nitzan Cohen, and the Museion director Bart van der Heide, we will dive into the themes explored in Bergmans’ work.
Guided by Cohen and van der Heide, the conversation will address the historical genealogy of these themes in art and design, and what the recent moments of acceleration have been — artistic, conceptual, personal, academic, pandemic — while also looking towards the future.
