24-hour performance in which Sven Sachsalber was locked in a room with a cow named Samsonie.
While getting the cow into the 4 x 4 meter room was not easy, getting it out again was far more difficult. In their time together, the animal developed what I would call an almost intimate relationship with Sven. Surprisingly, it was a very peaceful atmosphere, full of mutual affection.
The performance was documented in real time using a laptop video camera.

“In August 2011 I spent 24 Hours with a cow in a domestic Room in Malles, Italy. The performance was inspired by Joseph Beuys’s Performance » I like America and America likes me«. The Performance is documented with a real time video.” (Project-portfolio, 2012)
