Chandelier with communion wafers, produced following a design by Sven Sachsalber (produced by Ivo Barth in close exchange with the artist).

Sven Sachsalber had numerous 3D printed samples produced for his communion wafer candles, until they achieved the desired transparency and thickness. The symbols on the communion wafers were researched and specified by the artist himself. A locksmith in Vishgau fabricated the structure, with the arrangement decided upon together. The candlesticks hung at eye level, so that viewers had to crouch down or walk around it. No title was specified. (Notes from the research project on Sven Sachsalber [2021–2026] initiated by Museion and funded by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. In collaboration with the artist’s family and BAU.)
