The Long Night of the Museums

Occam Océan - Occam XXVI is a project based on a collaboration between Eliane Radigue, a French composer who has pioneered the exclusive use of continuous sounds/drones, and Italian percussionist Enrico Malatesta. Originally composed in Paris, in August 2018, the piece has since been presented worldwide in contexts such as Berghain in Berlin, the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, Bourse de Commerce/Pinault Collection in Paris and many others.

The piece will be performed within the exhibition AMONG THE INVISIBLE JOINS, that displays over 150 works by more than 80 artists from one of the most visionary and significant private collections of contemporary art in Italy: the Enea Righi Collection. This collection focuses on transdisciplinary, poetic, and socio-politically engaged artistic practices, represented in the exhibition by a wide range of art works, architectural designs, and artists’ books by renowned international artists and collectives such as Massimo Bartolini, Alighiero Boetti, Anna Boghiguian, Nan Goldin, Marisa Merz, Sturtevant, Superstudio, Walid Raad, Franz Erhard Walther, Akram Zaatari, and many more.
