Opening: Feedback. The Environments of Franco Vaccari

Curated by Frida Carazzato and Luca Panaro, the exhibition celebrates Franco Vaccari (Modena, 1936–2025), one of the most original voices in postwar Italian conceptual art. The show brings together photographs, videos, artist’s books, and archival materials, offering for the first time a comprehensive view of Vaccari’s environments, the core of his artistic practice.

Conceived on the occasion of the artist’s ninetieth birthday, the exhibition represents the first major institutional presentation of his work in Italy in over a decade, positioning it within a broader international discussion on the active role of the audience in the creation of the artwork.

From the exhibition spaces, the evening moves to Museion Passage, where the collective Cult of Magic presents the performance Sunday Mourning.

Formed by Francesco Sacco, Samira Cogliandro, Giada Vailati, and Luca Pasquino, Cult of Magic explores performance, music, and contemporary dance.

Sunday Mourning recreates the piazza as a place of social encounter and equilibrium: through a tableau vivant suspended between extreme slow motion, music, and costume, the collective introduces the unexpected and the absurd in an immersive experience that transforms the everyday into the fantastic.

The evening continues on the underground floor with a DJ set by Protopapa, DJ, producer, and vocalist who has shaped Milan’s nightlife, bringing his sound across Europe and reinventing Italo-disco. His debut album was released in February 2026, offering a unique opportunity to experience his engaging sound live.
