From May 27 to 29, Museion Art Club presents Dream / Traum / Sogno, a three-day program unfolding between the city and the museum, between outdoor and indoor spaces, between encounter and listening.

Rather than a sequence of events to follow, the program proposes a shared movement across different situations: walking, speaking, eating, listening, performing, and gathering. Each day activates a different form of co-presence, connecting Museion Art Club participants, local communities, artists, partners, and other cultural realities.

Wednesday 27.05.2026

The first day takes place outside the museum and unfolds as a gradual transition through the city and into the landscape. It is conceived as a collective activation of relations between Museion Art Club and local communities.

16:00

Collective walk towards Orti Semirurali Intercultural Garden

A slow processional walk becomes a space of proximity and attention, where movement itself becomes a form of collective practice.

16:30

Community gathering & collective weaving practice

Open questions and shared responses are passed along a ball of yarn, gradually forming a collective web of voices. The process is transferred onto a cyanotype tablecloth, where light records the gathering and later reveals a shared imprint shaped by time and presence.

The second day unfolds at Museion around Gritar, No Caer by Francesco Fonassi, one of the winners of the 13th Italian Council (DGCC, Italian Ministry of Culture). The project explores landscape as a sonic, energetic, and symbolic field, developed from research in Mexico’s “Zone of Silence” and translated into radio transmissions, listening experiments, and a filmic dimension developed with filmmaker Nata Failde.

At Museion, the work becomes a permanent sound installation composed of a radio bridge and a rooftop sound diffuser, extending beyond the museum into the surrounding space. A dedicated listening point is located on the pedestrian bridge in front of Museion, where the work enters into dialogue with the sonic environment of Bolzano. The piece will also be periodically reactivated in scheduled time slots.

18:00

Inauguration of the work
(Museion)

The installation is officially activated in its final form, opening its presence within the city and marking its entry into the Museion collection.

20:30

Sound performance within Sogni n.1 by Franco Vaccari

A live performance by Francesco Fonassi and Luisali Theisen takes place inside the exhibition environment Sogni n.1. Conceived on magnetic tape specifically for Vaccari’s work, the performance establishes a dialogue between sound practice and the idea of the “exhibition in real time”, activating the installation as a space of live transformation. The performance unfolds within the exhibition itself, where sound, image, and presence overlap in a continuous process of activation.

As the performance takes place within the exhibition space, capacity is limited and admission is available until full capacity is reached.

Overnight experience

At the end of the performance, it will be possible—upon prior reservation—to spend the night inside the museum, sleeping within the exhibition space.

In the morning, participants are invited to share and recount their dreams, reactivating Vaccari’s Sogni through lived experience, narration, and collective reflection. Reserve your spot here.

Friday 29.05.2026

The final day is curated by Macao, Saturnalia, and Landscape Choreography and presents ARCHIVIARE L’INGOVERNABILE, a publication dedicated to Macao as a political space and an autonomous context for artistic production and self-organised practices, published by Nero Editions.

The program unfolds through a public discussion on Care & Economy, addressing alternative forms of care and self-organised sustainability. The evening continues with a convivial dinner conceived as an artistic format.

The night concludes with Art & Repression, an immersive audiovisual performance addressing censorship and freedom of expression, followed by a live music set from the Saturnalia sound scene.

The project is supported by the Italian Council (2024), promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
