On May 17, the museum transforms into a space for play, encounter, and shared creation. On the occasion of International Museum Day, visitors are invited to take part in an open and engaging artistic experience: Painting Game, the participatory work by Canadian artist Adam Harrison.

More than just a game, Painting Game is a dynamic creative system: watercolors, brushes, paper, dice, and instruction cards guide—without ever restricting—the process. Participants sit together, draw a card, roll the dice, and from that moment a visual dialogue begins to unfold, shaped by gestures, intuition, and chance. Each mark intertwines with the others, giving rise to compositions that no individual could create alone.

No experience or preparation is needed: the game is open to all ages and skill levels. Here, mistakes become opportunities, chance turns into a language, and collaboration becomes the driving creative force. The outcome is not just a painting, but a shared process—a moment of connection where art and play merge.

Take a seat, pick your cards, roll the dice, and let your imagination lead the way. For one day, the museum becomes a living studio where creativity flows freely and every participant helps shape something unique.
