Who are we? How much of what we call “us” comes from within, and how much is shaped through encounters, relationships, and the gaze of others?
STAINS is a participatory drawing session that invites you to explore identity as a constantly shifting terrain. Through individual and collective creative practices, drawing becomes a tool for inquiry and storytelling: a trace left on the page, a mark that intertwines with other marks, a story that blends with other stories.
Body, name, and gender will serve as starting points for a journey through the construction of the self, highlighting the mechanisms, influences, and transformations that accompany us over time. In an open space of listening and sharing, identities can blend, overlap, and enter into dialogue, revealing their fluid and ever-changing nature.
The experience will be led by Alice Berti (Alis Dot), a visual artist and illustrator born in Bressanone. Her artistic practice focuses on intimacy, belonging, and identity construction, explored through languages ranging from writing to gesture-based drawing and performance. For years she has been running creative workshops and art education projects, and she is the founder of Drawing Nights Bz.
An opportunity to draw, meet, and let new possibilities of storytelling emerge, both individual and collective.
