Following Dentro il Cubo, the project developed by Museion in collaboration with the association La Strada – Der Weg and its “Invisibili” project team continues with a new chapter: ComeSe.
Born from a dialogue between multidisciplinary artist Martina Melilli and the young people involved in the project, ComeSe takes shape through a process of listening, exchange, and closeness. Over time, conversations and moments of encounter have brought forward words, images, and reflections connected to the experience of youth social withdrawal and to the desire to find new ways of relating to the world.
At the heart of the project lies a question: how do we wish to be seen? What images, stories, and possibilities can convey the complexity of experiences that often remain outside the public gaze?
The title ComeSe originates from an expression that repeatedly emerged during the encounters. Written as a single word yet carrying a double reading, it holds the possibility of imagining another point of view, another way of approaching things. At the same time, it evokes the image of comets: luminous bodies crossing the darkness, recognised only by those who take the time to stop and observe.
The project unfolds inside Cubo Garutti through a new installation and extends into the urban space through two public poster campaigns created in collaboration with graphic design studio Bar 1/2. The images and words appearing throughout the city invite a more attentive gaze, bringing into the shared space experiences, thoughts, and sensitivities that often remain at the margins.
With ComeSe, Cubo Garutti once again becomes a place of encounter: a space where art can open possibilities for listening, create connections, and bring closer what usually remains unseen.
