A Night of Colour and Sound Inspired by the secret equation: RAMM:ELL:ZEE.
Neon lights, spray paint, electric hip-hoppy sounds, cars silently sliding along empty New York streets. The night as the liquid canvas where all these elements unfold. Darkness, as a time of creation and cyclical rebirth.
On occasion of the opening of ‘RAMM:ELL:ZEE TIME:LINE,’ Museion Art Club presents OCCUPY After Dark, an imaginative night of visual and performance art meant to repaint – momentarily and endlessly – the tidy and conventional space of the “institutional” into the messy, world-building canvas of contemporary participative practices.
In the eclectic spirit of Rammellzee, we aim at offering a new perspective by unveiling the night as a universe of multiplicity, of agency and wonder. We don’t shy away from chaos, we embrace it as a powerful generative force.
The dark becomes perennial and a galaxy of colours, an electrifying feeling breeds the air and nourishes those who dare wear the mask of absurdity and abandonment. It beats through neon lights, thick brush strokes and our bodies in motion.

CARMEN MARIA ALBER (IT)
Community painting workshop with CARMEN MARIA ALBER. The artist invites the public of all ages to take part in a collective painting session inside of Museion. The canvases created will later become the setting of a clubbing night.

BAROKTHEGREAT (IT)
BAROKTHEGREAT is a group founded in 2008 by performer-choreographer Sonia Brunelli and musician and composer Leila Gharib, based in Verona. Their practice re-enacts fragments of inner worlds, creating imaginary scenarios that play along the tensions between sonic composition and choreography. Architectures and the space become living objects and are treated as active elements in the performance.

GRACE (UK)
GRACE is a London-based DJ exploring sounds from deep house through to classic house music. Her sets are rooted in groove and rhythm, often leaning into harder and more tech-house during late night hours. Her selections can be heard on the Berlin-based radio station Refuge Worldwide; she has held residencies at Balamii and Voices Radio, while also featuring on NTS Radio.
