Flash Art Italia Awards 2026: Museion receives the Premio Istituzione

Museion – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Bolzano/Bozen has been awarded the Premio Istituzione at the Flash Art Italia Awards 2026. One of the most significant recognitions for contemporary art in Italy, the award was officially announced on Friday, 6 February 2026, at Cinema Modernissimo in Bologna, during the ceremony organised by Flash Art Italia in collaboration with Artefiera.

The Premio Istituzione honours institutions that do more than present contemporary art: it recognises those that enable research, accompany artistic processes, and develop new formats with courage, responsibility, and openness to dialogue between art and society. The award confirms Museion’s role as a key cultural institution in South Tyrol and as an important actor within the Italian and international art landscape.
