This coffee cup was produced for the exhibition Feedback. The Environments of Franco Vaccari, Museion, Bolzano (28 March – 13 September 2026), curated by Frida Carazzato and Luca Panaro, dedicated to Vaccari’s environments and his pioneering role in participatory and conceptual art practices.
The design of the cup is inspired by Esposizione in tempo reale n. 23: “Anche tu qui?! Caffè”, an environment conceived by Vaccari like a small bar with a neon sign positioned outside the building for the exhibition Fin de siècle, held from 20 April to 22 June 1997 at the Centro d’Arte Contemporanea Ticino in Bellinzona and curated by Viana Conti.
The series “exhibitions in real time” (Esposizioni in tempo reale) initiated in the late 1960s by the artist, defines a distinctive approach to art-making in which the work is generated during the exhibition and with the active participation of the audience.
