The artist filmed drag queens in New York, Washington and San Francisco whilst they prepared for performances and took photographs of them backstage, in a space that lies between reality and fiction.
Following her education at the Polytechnic of Milan, Vera Comploj (Bolzano, 1983) moved first to Paris and then to New York. She has long been working on the project - entitled “In Between” - which will be presented for the first time in Museion’s Project Room.
