This was Werk. Voguing Dance, the participatory residency with William Briscoe, a Museion Art Club event. In the four-day voguing workshop, William Briscoe introduced participants to the history of Vogue and elements of Vogue Fem. Together, they explored Voguing as a form of self-expression in a protected space, as well as a dance expressing social resistance and queer liberation, where feminine essence, expressiveness and hypnotic sensual movements are at the heart of its style.tions, Vogue balls are also a way of supporting communities of people with shared experiences on and off the runway.
