In the winter the Alps are blanketed in snow; snow that is pure and white, but not pristine, being criss-crossed by a grid of lines, tracks and furrows left by skiers.

This vision of the “scarred” Alpine landscape is what inspires Konzeptmontage, the new project for the Museion’s Project Room by the artist Hubert Kostner. The exhibition presents a view of a snow-covered landscape traversed and “marked” by the presence of man. Hubert Kostner has always been interested in the Alpine landscape, its traditions, its past and its present, and this project ties in with that.
