With the exhibition The active collection. Media works from Vito Acconci to Simon Starling Museion presents some of the most important works belonging to his collection. The inauguration of the exhibition coincides with the appointment with the Long Night of the Museums of Bolzano.
Museion offers together with the other museums participating in the long night a colourful program with special initiatives designed for families, adults and children.
The program
4pm: presentation of Harry Thaler’s project for the Museion atelier house
4pm - 8pm: “active” workshop for children in the atelier house
6pm - midnight: guided tours every hour, in German and Italian
8.30 pm: Voice performance. SEDIMENTS SENTIMENTS (FIGURES OF SPEECH) by Then&Calzadilla (with: Yuanming Song - soprano, Joszefina Monarcha - mezzo-soprano, Abdul Candao - Tenor, Konrad Huber - baritone)
9.30pm: Live performance. FIGURES OF SPEECH OR THE DREAM MACHINE by Krüger & Pardeller with Nikolaj Hess 10.30 pm: Voice-performance. SEDIMENTS SENTIMENTS (FIGURES OF SPEECH) by Then&Calzadilla
Midnight: guided tour with director Letizia Ragaglia
01.15 am: projection of the work by Michael Fliri on the medial façade
