Artist with Gabriela Oberkofler

The exhibition in the project room is part of a co-project with Kunsthalle Erfurt (…als wenn ich hier geboren und erzogen wäre – “…as if I’d been born and brought up here…”). The titles of the two parts of the project form a phrase („Ich lasse mir’s gefallen, als wenn ich hier geboren und erzogen wäre und nun von einer Grönlandsfahrt, von einem Walfischfang zurückkäme“ – „I like it as much as if I’d been born and brought up here, and were coming back from a whale-catching expedition in Greenland”), which is taken from the chapter „Von Brenner bis Verona” – “From Brenner to Verona”“ in the book  „Italienischen Reise – “Italian Trip”“ by Johann Wolfgang Goethe.
