artiparlando with Sabine Haag, General director of Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. From Renaissance Wunderkammern to design collections – artiparlando 2015 offers a broad overview of the topic of collecting from the modern era to the present day. The new cycle crosses the fields of art to open up to the question of high & low and therefore to the theme of collections of absolutely everyday and ordinary objects. The first meeting is with Sabine Haag, General Director of Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna,  who traces the history of public and private collecting, giving the example of two European Wunderkammers: Schloss Ambras and the Kunstkammer preserved in Vienna. Both can be considered a first stage in the development of the modern museum.
