Occupy Museion

OCCUPY MUSEION aims to transform the museum through the interventions of local, underground artists, giving them access to the institutional space and empowering cultural exchange. This event series is part of MUSEION Art Club: an incubator and amplifier that enables fundamental and independent interaction between the museum and urban changemakers, offering space, visibility and networking, with the aim of accelerating urban culture in Südtirol.

This June edition of OCCUPY MUSEION will begin outdoors at 6.30 pm, at the entrance of MUSEION (Piazza Piero Siena, 1), with a DJ set by Lady Six Sky, whose mixes combine worldwide cultural influences in a musical style that can be described as Electropicalism Latino.

From 9 pm onward, the club action will take off as local artist DJ Urlaub continues the evening in the -1 underground space of the museum with a UK Garage and House set, followed by Innsbruck-based DJ Barbara B’s high-energy techno mix. These live DJ sets will be accompanied by experimental visuals, created by Moritz Brunner and Maximilian Pichler, which blend reality and virtual 3D worlds with sound-reactive visual compositions – all set in an immersive space designed by Martin Hell.
