The AMACI museums throughout Italy open their doors to Educational Day, a day of free activities dedicated to bringing together, learning about and communicating with the public about contemporary art.

The activities of this special day will revolve around the project “The Fantastic Islands”, created by the artist Matteo Rubbi. Adult visitors are invited to give concrete form and therefore create fantastic islands, drawing on a large atlas of islands and archipelagos imagined and drawn by elementary and middle school children. In addition to workshops on the “fantastic islands”, Museion offers free guided tours of current exhibitions and dialogues on art throughout the afternoon.

Throughout the day, entry to Museion and the activities offered are free. The Educational Day is promoted by AMACI Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums and is organized by the Educational Departments of the associated Museums.
