Conference by the famous British photographer
The renowned English photographer Martin Parr gives a lecture as part of the exhibition “Hämatli & Patriæ”, by guest curator Nicolò Degiorgis.
His works are preserved in the collections of museums such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the MoMa in New York. Parr’s production extends from the United States to the Far East, passing through Europe, but initially starts from England. Among his projects are the images of The Last Resort on the holiday resort of New Brighton, from 1986. And it is precisely the British identity that will be at the center of Parr’s intervention at Museion. The photographer follows the invitation of the guest curator Nicolò Degiorgis; the meeting, in English, takes place as a collateral program to the “Hämatli & Patriae” exhibition.
