Museion offers free entry to all couples.

Valentine’s Day with art at Museion, which offers free entry to all couples on Wednesday 14 February. The day is perfect for immersing yourself in the imaginary world and therefore entering, being enveloped and sometimes sitting down in the works of the “Installation art” exhibition, on the Museion collection. Like the cosmic dimension created by light in the evocative “light ballet” Lichtballett / Lichtkugel 1961 by Otto Piene or the soft red carpet by the artist Sylvie Fleury: (Chanel Fall/Winter, 1994).

You can relax on Fleury’s work, browse through magazines and, why not, immortalize yourself in an impressive selfie - for Instagram enthusiasts the hashtag to include is #loveMuseion. The Installation Art exhibition offers large-scale installations, videos and luminous works by over 16 artists. The recently inaugurated “Body Check” exhibition focuses instead on the comparison between two artists such as Maria Lassnig and Martin Kippenberger. This exhibition can also be visited free of charge by those who come as a couple. Here over sixty large paintings and drawings with sparkling colors show the particular and obsessive attention to the body of these two great personalities and place Kippenberger’s work in a broad historical-artistic context.
