Museion is taking part in BAW - Bolzano Art Weeks

BAW - Bolzano Art Weeks is a collective event that has been created to give a physical and temporal platform - to the multifaceted contemporary art scene in South Tyrol. The debut edition will be held throughout Bolzano with the aim of involving the public in exhibitions, performances, installations, site-specific and multimedia projects.

On the occasion of BAW - Bolzano Art Weeks and in the context of the TECHNO exhibition, Museion will be presenting a packed programme of activities.

From 2 pm to 6 pm on 25th and 26th September, and 1st and 2nd October, we will be offering “art talks”: our mediators will be on hand to talk to visitors in the TECHNO exhibition. The event is free of charge and booking is not required.

On 30th September, students from the Matera seat of the Advanced Training School of the Central Restoration Institute will be taking part in the event “Restoration School at Museion. Dialogues on the collection” (from 6 pm to 7 pm). The students will be assessing the state of conservation of a number of works from the Museion Collection and carrying out some maintenance and restoration work. Part of the event will be open to the public, with Elena Bini and Andreas Hapkemeyer talking to the students.
