An evening dedicated to counter-culture, political activism, and community building through techno music, featuring the iconic Bassiani techno club of Tblisi, Georgia, in one of the legs of its 10 Year World Tour.

The event marks the opening of the exhibition HOPE, the third installment of the long-term research project TECHNO HUMANITIES, which explores pressing questions concerning human existence, at the intersection between ecology, technology, and economics. This event is an important point of contact for the relationship between the independent cultural communities of Tbilisi, Georgia, and the subcultures of Bolzano, Italy. The initiative aims to weave a network of enduring partnerships and trans-European alliances between Central and Eastern European urban cultures and societies.

Three Bassiani residents will orchestrate the night’s soundscape: SOPHIE PHARE / HVL (LIVE SET) / KVANCHI. The visuals will be created by BITNET01, an interdisciplinary collective from Pesaro, Italy. The evening will end with a seminal address by Tato Getia and Philipp Kieser underlining the role of clubs, dance, and rave culture as powerful tools for social transformation. The aim of this statement is to reinforce the ethos of unity, resistance, and power enclosed in rhythm and techno music, highlighting the night’s essence and resonating within the assembled community.
