Museion in the podcast Art & Chips | Participatory Museums and Hope with Brita Köhler

What is hope?

A place? A person? A habit? A past or future time?

Anna and Anastasia, founders of the travelonart.com blog and creators of the Art & Chips podcast, start with this question to talk in their latest episode with Brita Köhler, Museion’s head of public services and educational projects. In their dialogue, they discuss what it means to create a participatory and accessible museum today, through the experience of the long-term TECHNO HUMANITIES project and its latest exhibition chapter HOPE.

During the HOPE exhibition, visitors were asked to leave a thought or impression inside a book, and answer the following question:

(Y)OUR FUTURE SPACE OF HOPE!

What does “hope” mean to you?
Is “hope” tied to a space or a place?
What will be our “future spaces of hope”?

More than 400 people participated and left a relevant comment on the theme of “hope.” At the end of the exhibition, the anonymous statements were grouped into four thematic areas so that they could be voiced as part of the Art & Chips podcast, a sustainable output that can be shared with a wide streaming audience.
