Armleder lights up Christmas at Museion with a new video for the Media Façade and an installation
Outside, vibrating lights and colorful fireworks on the media facade. Inside, a sparkling Christmas tree lies in front of a large painting.
It is “Endless”, a double intervention by John Armleder for the Christmas season 2016 in Bolzano, while the Christmas market is taking place at the same time. The Swiss artist’s invitation is not accidental. The theme of Christmas has been at the center of his production for years.
Well-known, for example, are the “Christmas Parties” that he celebrates in his house in Geneva, or his last site-specific intervention for Christmas 2015, with the work “Let it Shine, Let it Shine, Let it Shine. It’s Xmas again!” for the shop windows of “Rinascente” in Milan.
