One hundred very special objects reveal the works and modus operandi of some of the key figures in art in the last fifty years.

All of the pieces – from artworks to vinyls, and ephemera like invitations and posters – come from collections belonging to the artist Maurizio Nannucci, who appears as a collector on this occasion. The work of Maurizio Nannucci (Florence, 1939) explores the relationships between art, language and images.

He has taken part in the Venice Biennale, Documenta in Kassel and the Sao Paulo Biennale many times, and his pieces are in the colllections of numerous museums around the world, from the Museum of Modern Art in New York to the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Nannucci features in the Museion collection with various large format works.

Top Hundred is presented in collaboration with the Marino Marini Museum of Florence, which will host the show in early 2016. It is accompanied by a catalogue with texts by Andreas Hapkemeyer, Maurizio Nannucci, Letizia Ragaglia and Alberto Salvadori.
