Our work with the public at Museion is future-oriented and looks at current social events. Going beyond our exhibitions, the joint exchange with our public activates all activities, in an open, diverse, dialogical and interactive. The encouraged experiences follow the principle of an inclusive form of mediation that understands diversity and individuality as a social, collective and creative force.

Out of the museum - into culture!
Is it really true that in summer everyone in Bolzano sleeps and dreams of the seaside?

Museion activates a colourful and special programme for children! The doors open to connect art with exciting cultural partners in the city! The creative and multidisciplinary activities not only involve paint brushes, but also awaken other forms of artistic expression: theatre, body, dance, sound, photography… In an exciting field of experience, the children spend a week in which they experience surprising encounters and conquer the wide and colourful field of culture of Museion and the city of Bolzano! In co-operation with annually changing partners from the local cultural landscape.

Museion Art Club Young offers children an enjoyable and self-managed encounter on current topics in art and society with actors from the region’s cultural scene. Building the Museion Art Club of tomorrow, children can already discover the local cultural network now and help creatively shape the future!

Seeing with different eyes

Two weeks with different themes during the summer holidays offer young people the opportunity to realise a creative project together with a local artist. The practical and experimental activities inspire young people to observe society through the works of creative thinkers, to reflect critically and humorously and to realise their own artistic work. The Summer Lab is an initiative of Museion Art Club Young and is part of a broader network of local culture.
