Academic Partnerships

Fostering project partnerships with external collaborators in education, research, and academia stands as a core objective within Museion’s commitment to sustainable talent development and knowledge transfer.

Museion actively achieves this goal through cultivating partnerships with various educational institutions. We have a long-term collaboration with the Faculty of Design and Art at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano,  and more recent collaborations with the Department of Art History at the University of Trento and Eurac Research Centre - Bolzano, as well as with regional partners such as the Department of Aesthetics and Art Education at the Faculty of Human Sciences at the Guglielmo Marconi University in Rome and the Department of Education at the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany).

An intensive collaboration has developed between Museion and the Central Institute for Restoration of the Italian Ministry of Culture (Istituto Centrale per il Restauro, Rome and Matera) in the form of a temporary annual restoration workshop. The workshop forms the framework for object-based research projects in which students and teaching staff from the institute work together with the Museion collection curators. This research project aims to make the collection’s pieces more accessible, present the artworks to the public in exhibitions and preserve them for future generations.

Museion Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Bozen/Bolzano is looking for an Event Manager who is creative and flexible, with negotiation skills, organizational talent, drive, team spirit and lots of initiative.
